Install guide

Install it once. About thirty minutes, most of it talking about your business.

The same guide ships in the kit as a PDF. Pick your platform; the steps differ a little.

ChatGPT Projects

  1. Unzip the download. Keep the files together in one folder.
  2. Create a Project. In ChatGPT, open the sidebar, choose New project, name it after your business.
  3. Paste the instructions. Open 01_ChatGPT_Project_Instructions.md, copy everything between the START and END markers, and paste it into the Project's Instructions field. As reported, that field holds about 8,000 characters; ours is written to fit.
  4. Upload the files. Add the numbered workflow files (03 to 09, 16, 17) and the six templates. On the free plan, as reported, a Project takes about 5 files: use the lean install instead. Upload 03_Setup_Interview.md and lean/Workflows_Combined.md (every workflow in one file), and at the end of setup take the single-file option so your brand files arrive as one file. Three files, same system.
  5. Type /setup. Answer the six rounds. Have three to ten posts you wrote ready to paste. Correct the business profile it mirrors back before you confirm it.
  6. Save your brand files. At the end, the assistant produces 10_Brand_Profile, 11_Brand_Voice, 12_Audience_and_Positioning, 13_Content_Strategy, 14_Brand_Notes_for_Workflows and 15_30_Day_Calendar as Markdown (or one combined 10_Brand_System file if you asked for it). Save each one as a file with that exact name and upload it to the Project. This is the step people skip; the system only remembers what is in the Project.
  7. Start a fresh chat in the Project and type /buildlog with something you did this week.

Claude Projects

  1. Unzip the download. Keep the files together in one folder.
  2. Create a Project. In Claude, open Projects, choose New project, name it after your business.
  3. Paste the instructions. Open 02_Claude_Project_Instructions.md, copy everything between the START and END markers, and paste it into the Project's instructions.
  4. Add the files to project knowledge. Upload the numbered workflow files (03 to 09, 16, 17) and the six templates. Free plans have a small knowledge cap, as reported; if you hit it, use the lean install: 03_Setup_Interview.md plus lean/Workflows_Combined.md.
  5. Type /setup. Answer the six rounds. Have three to ten posts you wrote ready to paste. Correct the business profile it mirrors back before you confirm it.
  6. Save your brand files. At the end, the assistant produces six brand files as Markdown. Download each one and add it to project knowledge. The system only remembers what is in the Project.
  7. Start a fresh chat in the Project and type /buildlog with something you did this week.

What /setup asks

Six rounds, each a handful of questions. You can type "skip" on anything optional and come back with /revise later.

  1. Your business. Name, what you sell, who it is for, the main problem, what makes it different, stage and launch status. Paste your website URL if your platform can browse; the assistant reads it and asks you to confirm every fact before using it.
  2. Your audience. Who they are, what frustrates them, what they want, the topics they care about, why they would follow you, what you want them to do.
  3. Your voice. Three to ten posts you wrote yourself. Optionally, writing you admire by other people, kept separate and never treated as yours. Tone, humor, sentence length, vocabulary, first person or brand voice, things to avoid, comfort with personal stories.
  4. Your platforms. X, Threads, LinkedIn; which is primary; how often; hours per week; account type; experience.
  5. Your goals, in order. Following, customers, credibility, progress, traffic, leads, launches, conversations. No promises about any of them.
  6. Preferences. Themes, subjects to avoid, restrictions, research on or off, image suggestions, post length, personal stories, em dashes.

The first week

  • Day one: /buildlog with one real thing you did. Publish it if the assistant says it is worth it. Expect it to decline about a third of updates.
  • Day two: /post Day 2 from your calendar.
  • Day three: /reply with a post from your timeline you want to answer.
  • Day seven: /review with what you posted and the numbers you have. It plans next week from that.

If something is off

  • Drafts do not sound like you: open 11_Brand_Voice.md, edit the Do and Do not lists by hand, re-upload. Or paste two more of your posts and type /revise voice.
  • It invents a detail: it should write [NEEDS INPUT] instead. Tell it, and it will tighten up; the rule is in the instructions and in 09.
  • Your business changed: /revise and say what changed. It tells you which files to re-save.
  • The Project forgot everything: a file is missing. Check the six brand files are uploaded.

Platform noteChatGPT and Claude change their Project features and limits without notice. If a step here does not match what you see, the platform moved it; the file names and the order are what matter.
