Excited to announce our new Late Payment Predictor! This powerful feature leverages AI to help freelancers get paid faster. Try it today! #SaaS #Freelance
Sounds like everyone else.
For founders, indie hackers, and people building in public
A social content system you install into ChatGPT or Claude. It interviews you, studies how you write, builds your strategy, and then drafts posts, replies and weekly plans in your voice, with your facts.
$29 one-time. No PostLikeYou subscription. No account.
See a complete sample system for a fictional founder brand.
You give it
Your business, your audience, and real examples of how you write.
It builds
A brand profile, voice rules, strategy, a 30-day calendar, and a set of working routines.
You keep
Plain Markdown files inside your own Project. Edit them, revise them, never pay again.
How it works
Most of that time is you answering questions about your own business. Nothing happens on our servers, because there are none. Your AI does the work, in your account.
One payment of $29. The ZIP arrives with your receipt. Inside: instructions for ChatGPT and Claude, the setup interview, eight workflows, templates, a sample system, and a guide.
ChatGPT Projects or Claude Projects, free tier included. Paste the instructions, upload the files. Five minutes, and the guide shows every click.
Six short rounds inside the Project: your business, your audience, how you write, your platforms, your goals, your preferences. Have three to ten posts you wrote ready. About twenty minutes.
Your assistant writes your brand profile, voice rules, strategy and a 30-day idea calendar into the Project. From then on /buildlog, /post, /reply and the other commands draft in your voice, with your facts.
Before and after
On the left, what ChatGPT writes when you ask for "a post about our new feature". On the right, the same update drafted inside a system built from a founder's real writing. The brand, Ledgerline, is fictional. The difference is not.

Shipped the late-payment predictor today. It is wrong about 1 in 5 clients. That is still better than me, who was wrong about all of them until the invoice was 40 days old.
A distinct voice, with a real detail only this founder could have written.
Ledgerline is a fictional example brand, not a customer. The right-hand post is adapted from the brand's sample writing to show how the voice rules are applied.
What you get
Every file is plain Markdown you can read, edit, and keep. The workflows reference your brand files by name, so the whole system runs from one source of truth that you approved.

You are the social content partner for the owner of this Project.
Until Setup_Interview has been completed and Brand_Profile.md exists,
the only useful thing you can do is run /setup. Offer it.
Never invent facts, numbers, customer quotes, milestones or stories.
Treat the owner's own posts as the voice source. Treat posts they
admire by other people as direction only, never as their writing.# 04_Build_Log_to_Posts.md
1. Understand the event. Restate it in one sentence.
2. Judge it. Is this interesting to the audience in Brand_Profile.md?
If not, say so and suggest what would make it useful.
3. Offer three to five distinct angles, each tied to a pillar.
4. Recommend one, with a two-sentence reason.
5. Draft for the primary platform, in the voice in Brand_Voice.md.
6. Keep it true. Missing detail becomes [NEEDS INPUT], never a guess.# 15_30_Day_Calendar.md (written by your assistant at setup)

Interactive sample
Ledgerline is a fictional invoicing tool for freelance developers we use to show the shape of a finished system. Flip between the voice rules, pillars, a calendar week, and a worked Build Log to Posts example.
Fictional example brand. Not a customer.
Developer talking to developers. Short sentences, concrete numbers, one dry joke at most, and a habit of admitting mistakes before anyone asks.
Confidence: sample-backed, from 5 of the founder's own posts.
Show the product being built, including the parts that broke. This is where trust comes from.
Practical, copy-ready advice on invoicing, reminders and pricing. The useful content people save.
Real, rounded numbers from a one-person SaaS. Rare on the timeline and easy to start a conversation with.
Grounded takes on pricing, clients and tools, always backed by something that actually happened.
Show Ledgerline doing its job. One in six posts at most, and only when the feature has a story.
Seven of the thirty rows. Each is an idea with a hook and a format, not a written post. The assistant writes the post the day you ask for it.
| Day | Platform | Pillar | Topic | Hook | Format | CTA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | X | Build log | What shipped this week and what broke | Shipped two things this week. One worked. | Single post | None |
| 2 | X | Client money scripts | The four-sentence reminder email | The reminder email that gets paid is four sentences long. | Post plus screenshot of the template | Reply if you want the template |
| 3 | Client money scripts | Why net-15 works for small clients | I moved every client under $5k to net-15. Nobody complained. | Eight-line post | Ask how they set terms | |
| 4 | X | Solo SaaS economics | What percentage pricing would have cost customers | I modelled percentage pricing before choosing $12 flat. | Single post with one number | None |
| 5 | X | Opinions on freelancing | The invoice is part of the product | Your invoice is the last thing a client sees. Most look like a tax form. | Single post | None |
| 6 | Build log | The Feb 29 bug, told as a story | An invoice dated Feb 29 broke my aging report. | Short story, six lines | None | |
| 7 | X | Product, lightly | A reminder email Ledgerline drafted (anonymised) | Here is a reminder email the app wrote. Client paid in two hours. | Screenshot with context line | Link to trial in a reply |
Founder types
/buildlog Fixed a bug where invoices dated Feb 29 broke the aging report. Took me most of a morning to find. The fix was two lines.
Assistant answers
Worth posting? Worth posting. Small bug, clear story, slightly funny, and it shows the product being maintained. Not a milestone, so keep it light and do not attach a CTA.
Recommendation. Lead with angle two on X, with the leap-year line as the closer. The ratio (a morning to find, two lines to fix) is the hook, and the joke keeps it in your voice without forcing it.
Spent most of a morning hunting a bug in the aging report. Invoices dated Feb 29 broke it. The fix was two lines. If you were born on Feb 29, I now understand your pain.
Review before showing you
Ledgerline is a fictional example brand created to show what a finished system looks like. It is not a customer, and none of this is customer evidence. View the full sample system.
Use cases
Your commits, bugs, and pricing decisions become a steady build log. The system tells you which updates are worth a post and which are not.
Announcements that explain the product plainly, with founder commentary, so launch week does not read like six adverts in a row.
Share progress and setbacks in your own words. The system refuses to invent milestones and round numbers that did not happen.
Start from a real customer question, draft an educational post, and get every factual claim flagged for a source before you publish.
Consultants and freelancers get a LinkedIn-weighted strategy with opinion posts grounded in experience, not manufactured controversy.
A promotion approach set for your stage and goals, so product posts stay a share of the mix instead of taking over the account.

FAQ
Platform limits change often. Where we quote one, it is what the platform reported when we checked, and you should confirm it on their site.
No. Projects exist on the free tiers of both. As reported in late 2026, ChatGPT lets a free account attach up to 5 files per Project (25 on Plus, 40 on Pro and Business), and Claude's free plan allows a handful of Projects with a small knowledge base. The kit ships with a lean install that fits the free limits (instructions plus the files the setup writes) and a full install for paid plans. Check the current limits on each platform before you choose.
Inside your own ChatGPT or Claude account, under whatever plan you already have. There is no API key, no PostLikeYou server, and no usage bill from us. Your platform's own message and file limits apply, the same as any other conversation.
You download a ZIP. In ChatGPT, create a Project, paste the contents of the ChatGPT instructions file into the Project's instructions (as reported, that field holds about 8,000 characters, and ours is written to fit), and upload the files. In Claude, create a Project, paste the Claude instructions into the project instructions, and add the files to project knowledge. Then type /setup. The guide walks through both platforms step by step.
It runs an interview in six short rounds: your business, your audience, how you write (it asks for three to ten posts you wrote yourself), the platforms you use, your goals in priority order, and your preferences. It mirrors back a business profile for you to correct, then writes your brand files: profile, voice, audience and positioning, strategy, a 30-day idea calendar, and a notes file. You save those into the Project and the system is live. Plan on twenty to thirty minutes.
No. It never connects to X, Threads, or LinkedIn and never posts on your behalf. Your AI drafts; you read it, edit it, and publish it yourself. That is deliberate. Content that sounds like you needs you in the loop.
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. The system gives your AI a real brand profile, a voice drafted from your actual writing, a strategy matched to your stage and time, and a weekly review that looks at what you posted and what happened. It does not promise followers, reach, leads, or sales.
It depends on what you give it. With three to ten real samples, the voice file is built from them and quotes them back as examples. With fewer, the voice is labelled an inferred draft rather than presented as a match, and the system asks for more samples as you go. You can edit the voice file by hand at any time; it is a plain Markdown file in your Project.
Type /revise and say what changed: new pricing, a new product, a different platform, a voice that drifted. The system updates the affected brand files and tells you which ones to re-save. There is no limit and no charge. You can also rerun /setup from scratch.
They never touch a PostLikeYou server, because there is not one. Everything you type stays inside your ChatGPT or Claude Project under that platform's privacy terms. We see your email and order through the payment provider, nothing else.
Refunds are considered within 14 days of purchase if you have not downloaded or installed the kit. After that we handle requests case by case, because the files have been delivered. Write to us and we will sort it out quickly.
